A tragic road accident in Maharashtra’s Thane district claimed the lives of two young men and left another critically injured when a BMW carrying three friends met with a severe crash while they were returning from a birthday celebration.
According to preliminary findings, the vehicle was reportedly being driven at a very high speed when the driver lost control. The car collided with a road divider and overturned multiple times, resulting in a devastating impact. Two occupants died at the scene, while the driver sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Police have registered a case and launched a detailed investigation. Authorities are also examining social media activity and other circumstances related to the birthday gathering as part of the inquiry. The incident once again highlights the serious dangers associated with reckless and high-speed driving.
