Approximately 110 students reportedly fell sick after consuming lunch at a private school located in the Jhalaria area of Indore. The children complained of stomach pain, vomiting, and discomfort, prompting concern among parents and guardians.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, the district administration temporarily sealed the school’s kitchen and initiated an inspection of the food supplies. During the preliminary inquiry, officials identified certain irregularities related to the quality and storage of some spices and food ingredients.
According to authorities, most of the affected students received treatment at home, and none required hospitalization. The administration has ordered a detailed investigation into the matter and indicated that appropriate action will be taken against those found responsible.
