New Delhi: During the first half of 2026, a total of 866 people, including 226 children, were reported missing in Delhi’s South-West district. Acting swiftly, the police successfully traced every missing individual and ensured their safe return to their families.
In June alone, authorities located 193 missing persons, including 48 children. The search operations involved the use of CCTV footage, local inquiries, and extensive checks at railway stations, bus terminals, and other public places.
Officials stated that the ongoing Operation Milap continues to focus on locating missing persons as quickly as possible. The police have also urged the public to report any missing person immediately, enabling timely action and increasing the chances of a safe recovery.
