Two Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested in Delhi; One Had Previously Been Deported

The Foreigners Cell of the Delhi Police has arrested two Bangladeshi nationals for allegedly residing illegally in India. According to officials, one of the accused had already been deported from India in 2025 but unlawfully re-entered the country and was living in Delhi.

The suspects were apprehended from the Mahendra Park area during a police operation. Preliminary investigation revealed that neither individual possessed valid documents authorizing their stay in India. During the search, officers recovered two smartphones, Bangladeshi identity cards, and a canister of pepper spray.

Police stated that the investigation is ongoing to determine whether additional individuals were involved in facilitating their illegal stay. Authorities have also initiated the legal process for the deportation of both accused in accordance with applicable laws.
