In a chilling incident in the Kaukur area of Telangana, a 5-year-old girl was kidnapped and murdered. Police arrested Vikram, a native of Bihar and former security guard of the same gated community, in connection with the case. The accused had been fired from his job just a day prior due to poor conduct. Out of a grudge, he kidnapped the child, demanded a ransom of 20 lakh rupees, and later threw her body into the society’s basement water tank.
