Jammu & Kashmir Under Focus: Female Wings of Jaish and Lashkar Reportedly Active

A concerning intelligence input has emerged regarding terrorist activities in Pakistan, indicating preparations for suicide squads that may involve women. According to intelligence sources, female units associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are actively conducting recruitment drives.

Reports suggest that on April 18, a lengthy special session was organized at One Step Ahead College in the Gujjar area of Muzaffarabad. The program reportedly began around 9:00 AM and continued for nearly 10 hours, with the participation of over 150 women. During this session, activities related to recruitment and preliminary training were allegedly carried out.

Officials associated with intelligence agencies have stated that details of this meeting have been shared with central security agencies. According to the input, following this initial session, two additional advanced training phases are being planned by a group identified as Jamaat-ul-Mominat.

Sources have also indicated the possible involvement of Masood Azhar in the final phase of training. Furthermore, the session reportedly included detailed briefings for participants on the geographical and social structure of Jammu and Kashmir, including district-level insights and demographic aspects.

The report further mentions a proposed special training session for these women in Lahore during the third week of May. Security agencies are treating these inputs with seriousness and continue to closely monitor the situation.
