Patna witnessed large-scale protests by candidates appearing for the Sub-Inspector (Daroga) Recruitment Main Examination. Hundreds of aspirants took to the streets, alleging a paper leak and various irregularities in the examination process. The protesters demanded that the examination be cancelled and that an impartial investigation be conducted into the allegations. According to the candidates, serious concerns have been raised regarding the transparency of the examination held on May 27, and complaints have already been submitted to the concerned authorities and departments.

During the demonstration, candidates marched from the Patna College campus to JP Golambar, raising slogans against the government and demanding immediate action. In response to the gathering, police and administrative officials remained on high alert, with extensive security arrangements put in place. Barricades were installed at several locations to prevent the protesters from advancing further.

Student leaders warned that the agitation would continue until a high-level, fair, and transparent inquiry is carried out and a clear decision is taken regarding the examination. The administration is currently monitoring the situation closely while awaiting further developments and decisions on the matter.
