Fatal Clash Between Two Groups in Bettiah; One Dead in Stabbing Incident
Patna: A violent clash between two groups was reported in Machhargawan village under the Bairia police station area of West Champaran district, resulted in a stabbing incident that claimed the life of a youth. The situation in the area remains tense following the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Shyam Yadav, son of Chhabila Yadav. According to reports, an argument between the two groups escalated into a physical altercation, which later turned into a stabbing.
During the incident, Shyam Yadav sustained critical injuries. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital by his family members and local residents, where doctors declared him dead.
Upon receiving information, the Bairia police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The body has been taken into custody and sent to GMCH for post-mortem examination. Considering the tense atmosphere in the village, additional police forces have been deployed.
The Station House Officer stated that an investigation is underway, and raids are being conducted to apprehend the accused. Authorities have assured that all those responsible will be arrested soon.
