Ranchi: At the invitation of Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya is scheduled to visit Ranchi in the second week of July to discuss the development of sports and athletes in Jharkhand.
During the visit, Dr. Mandaviya will interact with representatives of sports associations and athletes to explore ways to strengthen the state’s sporting ecosystem. Discussions will focus on identifying opportunities, improving infrastructure, and creating a supportive environment that enables young talent from Jharkhand to excel at the state, national, and international levels.
According to Sanjay Seth, the Union Sports Minister will also inspect the Sports Village in Ranchi to assess its facilities and explore its potential for nurturing future sporting excellence. The visit is expected to contribute to long-term strategies aimed at promoting sports and providing better opportunities for aspiring athletes across the state.
