New Delhi: The Supreme Court has commenced hearings in the suspicious death case of model and actress Twisha Sharma. Twisha was found dead at her in-laws’ residence on May 12. She had married advocate Samarth Singh nearly five months ago. The incident has sparked widespread public attention across the country, with increasing questions now being raised regarding the investigation process.
The Supreme Court listed the matter as a case involving “the unnatural death of a young woman at her matrimonial home and possible procedural lapses in the investigation.” During the hearing, the court expressed serious concern over the manner in which the preliminary investigation was conducted.
