National

Security has been significantly strengthened at Delhi’s border checkpoints after farmers announced their planned march toward the national capital. Additional police personnel have been deployed at key entry points, including Singhu and Ghazipur borders, to maintain law and order. Authorities conducted thorough inspections of vehicles entering the city, while barricades were installed at several locations to regulate traffic. Passengers traveling in buses and other public transport were also subjected to identity verification. As a precaution, water cannons and other emergency resources were kept on standby. Although intensified security checks caused temporary traffic delays, officials confirmed the overall situation remained peaceful and under control.
