National

State Forest and Cooperative Minister Kedar Kashyap has dismissed the allegations made by the Congress regarding the Nakti village issue, describing them as completely unfounded and politically motivated. He stated that the process of allocating the concerned land began in 2020 under the previous government, while the administration has acted strictly in accordance with legal provisions to remove encroachments from government-owned land.

According to the minister, the action was confined to a limited area and did not affect the entire village. He further asserted that appropriate rehabilitation arrangements have been made for the families impacted by the operation. Kashyap also accused the Congress of attempting to mislead the public for political gain.
