Announces Movement Against “Bulldozer Culture”
Kolkata: Following the defeat in the West Bengal Assembly elections, Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief and former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee launched a sharp attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Addressing a meeting of party legislators at her residence in Kalighat, she claimed that the BJP would soon be ousted from power at the Centre in the coming days.
In the recently concluded state assembly elections, the BJP secured victory, bringing an end to the 15-year rule of the Trinamool Congress in the state. Despite the electoral setback, the TMC leadership made it clear that its political battle against the BJP would continue. Mamata Banerjee also announced plans to launch a movement against what she described as the growing “bulldozer culture” in the country.
