Big News Child

Patna: The Bihar government and the state police headquarters have announced a major step to improve road safety by strengthening high-tech traffic surveillance across national highways. Around 58 new interceptor vehicles will soon be added to the traffic police fleet, making it easier to monitor nearly 6,300 kilometers of highway network. These vehicles will be equipped with high-resolution cameras, speed detection guns, digital recording devices, and voice recording systems. Traffic violators will receive e-challans through the upgraded system. Officials said the initiative aims not only to enforce traffic laws but also to encourage responsible driving and increase public awareness, helping reduce road accidents and improve overall highway safety.
