New Delhi Police’s Anti-Narcotics Squad has dismantled an interstate cannabis trafficking network, arresting four alleged smugglers after nearly 36 hours of coordinated surveillance across multiple states. Officers seized 765.6 kilograms of cannabis, eight mobile phones, cash worth around ₹4 lakh, and several pieces of jewellery from the accused. Investigators revealed that the gang sourced cannabis from Tripura and Odisha before distributing it across Delhi and several northern Indian states. The largest consignment was recovered from a warehouse in Ludhiana, Punjab. Police said the investigation is ongoing, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend other individuals linked to the trafficking network.
