Police in New Delhi have arrested a 35-year-old man, identified as Philip alias Vicky, for allegedly drugging and robbing passengers in the ISBT area. During the investigation, officers recovered sedative tablets, a stolen wallet, a wristwatch, and the clothes the suspect was reportedly wearing at the time of the crimes.
According to police, the accused would befriend travelers arriving from or departing to different states at bus terminals. He allegedly offered them juice or soft drinks laced with intoxicating substances, causing them to lose consciousness. Once the victims were incapacitated, he is believed to have stolen cash, jewelry, and other valuables before fleeing the scene. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the case.
