Looking at the figures, an average of three journalists lost their lives daily during April 2021. At the same time, this figure increased to 4 deaths daily in May.
The second wave of the Corona epidemic not only engulfed many senior journalists, but also snatched the lives of journalists working in different districts, towns and villages of the country. According to a Delhi-based organization, a total of 238 journalists died of corona during April 2020 to May 2021.
