New Delhi: A Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed on Thursday night in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam. In this tragic incident, two brave officers of the Air Force—Squadron Leader Anuj and Flight Lieutenant Purvesh Durgkar—lost their lives.

The Air Force officially confirmed the loss and stated that the aircraft was on a routine training mission when the accident occurred. Prior to the crash, the aircraft had disappeared from radar.
