President Murmu and External Affairs Minister Jaishankar Convey Wishes
New Delhi: On the occasion of Israel’s Independence Day, India extended warm greetings to its close partner nation, underscoring the strength of their bilateral relationship. President Droupadi Murmu and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar sent congratulatory messages to Israel’s leadership and its people.
In her message shared on the social media platform X, President Murmu conveyed her best wishes to the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, and the citizens of the country. She noted that the special strategic partnership between India and Israel continues to grow stronger, reflecting the deep-rooted friendship between the two nations. She further emphasized that this relationship represents a shared commitment to peace, innovation, and mutual prosperity.
Similarly, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, in his post on X, extended greetings to Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, as well as to the government and people of Israel. He highlighted that India places great importance on its special strategic partnership with Israel and remains committed to further strengthening it in the years ahead.
