New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the government’s key achievements and development initiatives on the social media platform X as he completed 12 years in office as Prime Minister. He stated that the country has witnessed several significant transformations during this period, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that the benefits of development reach the poor, underprivileged, and marginalized sections of society.
The Prime Minister noted that major initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, and Ayushman Bharat have provided essential services, opportunities, and support to millions of citizens across the country. He also emphasized that the increasing use of technology has enhanced transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in the delivery of government services and welfare benefits.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reiterated that public welfare remains one of the government’s foremost priorities. He stated that schemes such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, PM SVANidhi, and several other welfare programs have helped connect millions of people with financial services, employment opportunities, and social security benefits. According to him, these initiatives are laying a strong foundation for the vision of a developed and self-reliant India.
