New Delhi: The national capital witnessed highly erratic weather conditions on Friday, as residents experienced three contrasting weather patterns within a single day. The day began with intense heat and humidity, making conditions uncomfortable for the public. However, by evening, strong dust storms accompanied by heavy rainfall brought a sudden shift in the weather.
Friday marked the fourth consecutive day of extreme heat in Delhi, with the maximum temperature soaring to 41 degrees Celsius—the highest recorded so far this season. According to the Safdarjung weather station, this temperature was recorded at 4 degrees Celsius above the normal level.
