Kyiv: Ukraine’s Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant—site of the world’s worst nuclear disaster—once again faced a grave situation on Tuesday. Following intense drone and missile strikes carried out by Russian forces, the facility was suddenly and completely cut off from its external power supply. Confirming the incident, the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), expressed deep concern over nuclear safety and security.
