New Delhi: Political activity within the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has intensified following a statement by senior party leader and Member of Parliament Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar. She claimed that nearly 20 MPs have expressed their willingness to support the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
According to Dastidar, a letter regarding the matter has already been submitted to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. She stated that a section of the MPs is reportedly inclined to align with the ruling coalition at the Centre.
The claim has triggered widespread political discussion and speculation across various circles. However, an official and detailed response from the Trinamool Congress is still awaited, and the party has yet to clarify its position on the issue.
