Mumbai Pilgrim Injured During Kedarnath Yatra, Rescued Safely by Emergency Team

Rudraprayag: A pilgrim travelling on the Kedarnath Yatra route was injured near the Chirbasa Helipad, following which rescue teams from DDRF and YMF carried out a prompt and successful rescue operation.

According to officials, 63-year-old Satyanarayan Swami, a resident of Mumbai, was trekking from Gaurikund to Kedarnath on foot. During the journey, he suddenly felt dizzy near Pole Number 81 and collapsed on the route, suffering injuries to his head and nose.

As soon as the information was received, the rescue personnel rushed to the spot and safely transported the injured devotee to Gaurikund using a stretcher. Doctors provided him with primary medical treatment, and his condition was later reported to be stable.

The administration has appealed to pilgrims travelling in high-altitude areas to remain cautious and seek immediate medical assistance if they experience any health-related issues.
