Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a one-day visit to Karnataka and Goa on Friday, November 28, commencing with participation in the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana at Sri Krishna Math in Udupi.
At around 11:30 AM in Udupi, the Prime Minister will join a massive devotional gathering of one lakh participants—including students, monks, scholars, and citizens—reciting the Srimad Bhagavad Gita in unison at the over 800-year-old Sri Krishna Math, founded by Dvaita Vedanta proponent Sri Madhvacharya.
He will inaugurate the Suvarna Teertha Mantapa in front of the Krishna sanctum and dedicate a golden Kanaka Kavacha cover for the sacred Kanakana Kindi window, through which saint Kanakadasa is believed to have beheld Lord Krishna.
