India is steadily strengthening its defense export capabilities and is now preparing to supply the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile to Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. According to officials, Indonesia could receive two BrahMos missile batteries under a defense deal valued at approximately $200 million. The proposed agreement is part of broader defense cooperation between the two nations, covering areas such as defense technology transfer, air defense, and maritime security. Each BrahMos battery consists of four launchers and 12 missiles. In addition to these countries, India is also engaged in discussions with several other nations to expand the export of the BrahMos missile system.
