Police in East Delhi’s Shakarpur area have carried out a major operation against drug trafficking, resulting in the arrest of a woman and her alleged supplier. During the operation, authorities recovered approximately 106.68 grams of suspected heroin, cash amounting to ₹1.01 lakh, a scooter, mobile phones, and other items from their possession.

According to investigators, the woman was apprehended first based on specific intelligence inputs. Information obtained during questioning led police to the supplier, who was subsequently arrested. A forensic examination later confirmed that the seized substance was heroin.

Police believe the recovered cash was generated through the sale of narcotic substances. The investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to identify and apprehend other individuals who may be connected to the trafficking network.
