Passenger Detained With Suspected Foreign Currency
Hyderabad: Panic broke out at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad after a bomb threat was reported on Lufthansa Flight LH 754, which was traveling from Frankfurt, Germany, to Hyderabad. During the flight, the airline’s customer support team reportedly received a threatening email claiming that a bomb had been placed on board and would be detonated before the aircraft reached Hyderabad.
Following the alert, airport security agencies, air traffic control authorities, and the Central Industrial Security Force immediately shifted into high-alert mode and initiated emergency security procedures.
Fortunately, the aircraft landed safely at Hyderabad Airport. After landing, the plane was moved to a designated isolation bay as part of standard security protocol. All passengers on board were safely evacuated and subjected to detailed screening procedures.
Security personnel and dog squads carried out an extensive inspection of the aircraft, but no suspicious object has been found so far. Authorities are now investigating the origin of the threatening email and attempting to identify the unknown individual responsible for sending it.
