Delhi Police have arrested two men for allegedly demanding ₹1 crore in extortion from a businessman in West Delhi. According to investigators, the suspects threatened the victim by falsely invoking the name of a notorious criminal gang. Police revealed that the main accused had previously worked for the businessman and, along with an accomplice, planned the crime to make quick money. The duo purchased a new mobile phone and SIM card to place WhatsApp calls demanding the payment. Officers recovered the phone used in the crime, while both suspects remain in custody for questioning. The investigation is continuing.
