Transfer of 14 IAS Officers in Bihar; Several Officials Assigned New Responsibilities

Patna: The Bihar government has issued orders for the transfer and fresh postings of 14 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers as part of a broader administrative reshuffle. According to the General Administration Department, all concerned officers have been directed to assume their new responsibilities without delay.

As part of the restructuring, several former district magistrates have been assigned key roles in government departments and public sector organizations. Former Bhagalpur District Magistrate Naval Kishore Choudhary has been appointed as the Managing Director of BSPTCL, while Navdeep Shukla has been designated as Special Secretary in the Department of Youth and Skill Development.

The reshuffle also includes new appointments in departments associated with higher education, energy, finance, health, school education, and rural development. The state government believes that these changes will enhance administrative efficiency, improve governance, and accelerate the implementation of development projects across Bihar.
