New Delhi: Security agencies across the country have been placed on high alert over the potential threat of drone attacks targeting key military and strategic installations. The central government has directed authorities to enhance security measures in border regions and other sensitive areas. As part of these efforts, the process of deploying advanced anti-drone systems at multiple locations has been expedited.
According to sources, security agencies are currently evaluating sophisticated technologies capable of detecting, tracking, and neutralizing suspicious drone activity. The Ministry of Home Affairs, along with other relevant departments, is conducting a comprehensive review of existing security arrangements. Teams of experts are also inspecting critical infrastructure and strategic facilities nationwide. Based on their assessments, decisions will be made regarding the deployment of appropriate security technologies and equipment to strengthen the country’s defense preparedness against emerging aerial threats.
