New Delhi: In an effort to ensure a fair and transparent NEET re-examination process, the Central Government has decided to impose temporary restrictions on the use of Telegram. According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), these measures will remain in effect until June 22, 2026. Additionally, Telegram’s message-editing feature has been directed to remain disabled until June 30.
The NTA stated that certain social media platforms had reportedly been used to circulate misleading information and fabricated evidence related to the examination. To prevent the spread of such content and safeguard the credibility of the testing process, authorities have introduced these precautionary measures.
Special emphasis will be placed on maintaining security, transparency, and the integrity of the examination during the NEET re-exam scheduled for June 21. The government aims to create a reliable and trustworthy environment for all candidates appearing in the test.
