New Delhi. In the Nashik city of Maharashtra, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has expressed condolences to the family members of the victims, including the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, over the deaths of over 20 people due to leaking of an oxygen tanker. Amit Shah wrote in his tweet, ‘I am distressed to hear the news of an accident in a hospital in Nashik city due to oxygen gas leak. I express my deepest condolences on this irreparable loss of those who have lost their loved ones in this accident. ‘ BJP chief JP Nadda has also mourned the oxygen leak incident at the hospital in Nashik. He wrote in the tweet, “My condolences are with the families of those who lost their lives in this accident.”
It may be noted that 31 out of 80 patients who needed oxygen were shifted to another hospital after this incident at Zakir Hussain Hospital. The gas spread throughout the area due to which a state of panic was created for some time. Nationalist Congress Party leader Majid Menon has tweeted that action should be taken against those responsible for the oxygen leak. He wrote in the tweet, ‘Oxygen leaking from tanker in Nashik resulted in loss of several liters of oxygen and created panic situation in the hospital. Whoever is responsible for this negligence should be identified and punished.
