The NITI Aayog said on Tuesday that the next three weeks are going to be important in the war against Corona. This advice was given by VK Paul, member of the Health Committee of NITI Aayog, in a meeting with the Chief Secretary of the Union Territories and the Chiefs of Police. He said that the next three weeks are going to be important in the fight with Kovid-19. In such a situation, we should start preparing the container zone etc. beforehand. He said that the Union Territories should prepare in advance. The next three weeks are important and accordingly, a survey should be conducted to find out the positive cases. The virtual meeting was chaired by Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan. Apart from this, Dr. Balaram Bhargava, Director of ICMR was also present in the meeting. In the meeting, Ajay Kumar Bhalla said that the crisis of corona in the country is increasing rapidly. He said that this figure was 20,000 every day in January, which has now increased more than 10 times. He said that in the last 10 days, the number of new cases in the country has more than doubled. He said that on April 9, a total of 1.31 lakh active cases were found in the country, while on April 20 this figure increased to 2.73 lakh. At the meeting, the Union Government advised all Union Territories to increase testing and strengthen the health infrastructure. Apart from this, it also ordered to plan for Containment Zones and strictly implement the Corona Protocol. Ajay Kumar Bhalla said that we should strengthen the infrastructure of hospitals before three weeks. He said that we should also increase RT-PCR test. In addition, rapid antigen tests should also be continued.
