Thiruvananthapuram: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a summons to Veena T, daughter of former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, in connection with the CMRL-Exalogic financial transactions case. She has been directed to appear before the agency’s Kochi office on Friday for questioning. As part of the ongoing money laundering investigation, notices have been served to a total of nine individuals.

According to sources, the ED decided to expand its probe after reviewing responses obtained during earlier rounds of questioning. Recently, a court permitted the agency to continue its investigation and granted access to key documents considered important to the case. Investigators believe that the newly acquired records, along with further questioning, could reveal significant details and provide fresh insights into the matter.
