New Delhi: During the discussion in the Rajya Sabha on the Kisan movement, while clarifying his ‘blood cultivation’ statement, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that there is no need to get excited about this, I did not even say this in excitement , I was referring only to the Congress document in which he accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of cultivating blood. However the Agriculture Minister’s blood-cultivated statement was later dropped from the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha.
Tomar had said in the Rajya Sabha that the Agriculture Minister said that ‘water is needed for farming. The Congress does the cultivation of blood only, the BJP does not. ”Congress MP Digvijay Singh gave a sharp response to this.
Tomar said that the government is always ready to negotiate with the farmers’ organizations and PM Narendra Modi has given his proposal in this regard also. He said that our interaction with farmers has lasted for a long time. The proposal made by the government is still with the farmers and they are discussing it among themselves. After some time such a situation will come when their proposal comes, then we will discuss both sides together. The Agriculture Minister said that I am confident that both sides will work together to find a solution.
In the Rajya Sabha, PM Narendra Modi is going to answer this on Monday, should the farmers react to the proposal put on their behalf, on this question, the Minister said that efforts have been made for the farmers and agriculture in the last six years They never happened before. Efforts have been made to double the income of farmers.
