Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the blast on January 29 outside the Israeli embassy in New Delhi and thanked him for the measures taken to protect his country’s representatives. Giving information, the PMO said that in a conversation with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister Modi strongly condemned the terror attack near the Israeli embassy. Modi assured Netanyahu that India attaches greater importance to the security of Israeli diplomats and campuses. Prime Minister Modi told Netanyahu that India will use all its resources to find and punish the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Delhi.
It is known that on January 29, there was a minor IED blast outside the Israeli Embassy on Aurangzeb Road in Lutyens area of Delhi. However there were no casualties in the blast. Some cars were damaged in the blast in this over-protected area and the police said that preliminary investigation showed that someone had done the mischief to create a sensation.
