By 31 January, the Delhi government will quarantine travelers coming from Britain to India. In this regard, the Delhi government has extended the period of its previous order till 31 January. The Delhi government had released the trial on January 8 till January 14, the period of which has now been extended to January 31.
According to this order, RT-PCR test will be compulsory for all passengers coming from UK at Delhi Airport and the same passengers will pay for it. Passengers who are found positive will be kept in a separate institutional isolation facility. Those travelers who are found negative will be quarantined for 7 days and then quarantined for 7 days.
According to the standard operating procedure issued by the central government, if a person coming from the UK is found negative in the RT PCR test done at the airport, then he will be advised to stay in the house for 14 days only, while the Delhi government has 7 days Institutional quarantine and 7-day home quarantine order was issued.
