Nowadays, having tea immediately after waking up has become a common part of many individuals’ daily routines. However, according to health experts, this habit may have adverse effects on the body.
As per Ayurvedic principles, the early morning period is associated with the balance of Pitta in the body. Consuming tea on an empty stomach during this time may aggravate Pitta, leading to increased body heat and acidity. This can manifest as symptoms such as a burning sensation in the stomach, sourness, and general discomfort.
