New Delhi: A discussion and voting on the no-confidence motion moved by the opposition against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is likely to take place in the Lok Sabha on March 9. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that the motion will be taken up for debate on the first day of the second phase of the Budget Session, followed by voting. The government has expressed confidence in securing the required majority.
