New Delhi: Intense cold conditions and a severe cold wave continue to grip large parts of northern India. Icy winds and falling temperatures have significantly disrupted daily life. According to the India Meteorological Department, there is little likelihood of relief from the biting cold over the next few days, and yellow alerts have been issued in several states.
