PM report fails to reveal the cause of death

Ghaziabad: The skeleton of 10-year-old Lavish, who had been missing for the past two months, was recovered from the forest area of Noorpur village under the Masuri police station limits in Ghaziabad. The remains were identified by his family—his mother Seema and brother Sagar—based on the T-shirt found at the scene.

A post-mortem examination was conducted; however, the report did not conclusively determine the cause of death. Bloodstains found on the remains and the T-shirt will be sent for DNA analysis at a forensic laboratory. This examination is crucial to confirm whether the blood belongs to the child and to determine if there are any indications of criminal activity.

Police have already investigated several individuals named by the family. The location of one suspect was previously traced to Hapur. The inquiry into an alleged assault case related to the incident has also been completed. According to the police, further investigation will proceed more rapidly once the forensic and DNA reports are received.

The body was discovered in an area where small animals are usually buried. Police are also investigating how the child reached that location.
