Yoga asanas are a natural and effective way to attain both mental peace and sound sleep. Practicing a few simple poses daily can help reduce stress and improve sleep quality.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Vajrasana can be performed even after meals and helps improve blood circulation in the body. Better circulation aids the digestive system, reducing issues like acidity and constipation—common factors that can disturb sleep.

To perform Vajrasana, kneel down with your toes touching each other and heels slightly apart. Keep your back straight, close your eyes, and focus on your breathing. Practicing this pose for five to ten minutes relaxes the stomach, eases lower back pain, and promotes faster sleep onset.

Yastikasana also helps relax both the body and mind, contributing to overall physical and mental rejuvenation.
