Jammu: Rising Indian T20 team batter Abhishek Sharma visited the revered shrine of Vaishno Devi Temple on Friday to offer prayers to Mata Rani.
Located in the Trikuta Mountains, the sacred pilgrimage site witnessed the cricketer’s visit, a video of which has quickly gone viral on social media. In the footage, Abhishek can be seen traveling by a battery-operated vehicle from the vicinity of Ardhkuwari Cave Temple to the Bhawan area of the shrine.
Strict security arrangements were in place during his visit. He was also seen heading toward the temple premises accompanied by personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police. His simple and humble appearance during the pilgrimage has won the admiration of many fans online.
