Sarpasana Helps in Preventing Kidney Stones

When stones form in the kidneys, the body is unable to flush out waste effectively, leading to severe pain, burning sensations, and sometimes infections. Yoga has emerged as a natural and simple remedy in this regard. Sarpasana, also known as Bhujangasana or the Cobra Pose, has a positive effect on the organs around the abdomen and lower back. In this posture, the body is lifted upward while lying on the stomach, creating gentle pressure on the abdomen, waist, and spine. This pressure activates the kidney muscles and helps gradually eliminate accumulated toxins. With regular practice, small stones may break down and pass out through urine. Sarpasana also contributes to strengthening the spine.
