Mumbai: The controversy involving model and actress Poonam Pandey, which dates back to the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, is once again being recalled—an incident that had suddenly brought her into the spotlight. Describing that phase as extremely challenging, Poonam admitted that at the time she did not fully understand how the entertainment industry functions, particularly the importance of networking and professional connections.
She remarked that she has since realized that people in this industry do many things, aspects of which she is still in the process of learning. Poonam also revealed that the controversial statement was made spontaneously while she was celebrating her birthday with friends.
