Islamabad. Pakistan has received an invitation to participate in the upcoming U.S.–Iran talks scheduled to take place in Turkey later this week. The dialogue between Washington and Tehran aims to reduce tensions following weeks of prolonged hostility. According to reports, Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson, Tahir Andrabi, confirmed that the country has been invited to the forthcoming discussions between Iran and the United States. It is being reported that Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, may represent the country at the talks, and Islamabad’s participation in the meeting is being viewed as strategically significant.
