Balochistan CM Says Operations Ongoing to Clear Districts of Militants
Quetta: More than 250 people have been killed so far in Pakistan’s southwestern province of Balochistan following a series of attacks carried out by insurgents since last Saturday and the subsequent retaliatory operations by security forces. A senior security official informed on Wednesday that the death toll from the violence, which began on Saturday, has continued to rise. The Chief Minister of Balochistan stated that security operations are ongoing with the objective of freeing various districts from militant activity.
