Tenders for the purchase of these cars were issued just last week, and according to sources within the Lokpal office, delivery is expected next month.
The Lokpal, entrusted with keeping watch over corruption and administrative misconduct in the country, will begin using these ₹70-lakh vehicles later this year, in 2025. Reports suggest that the total cost for all seven cars will exceed ₹5 crore.
