In a significant ruling in the Delhi excise policy case, the Rouse Avenue Court acquitted Arvind Kejriwal and all other accused, including Manish Sisodia. The court observed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) failed to present sufficient evidence to substantiate the charges and noted serious deficiencies in the chargesheet.
After stepping out of the courtroom, Arvind Kejriwal became emotional while addressing the media. He described the verdict as a “victory of truth.” Expressing gratitude to the judge, he stated that attempts had been made to defame him through false allegations. He affirmed that he has earned his livelihood with honesty throughout his life, and added that the court also described both him and Manish Sisodia as “staunchly honest.”
